I have the text in The Children Of The Stars book by A.L. Whyte (the speech of woman in the space according to this book):
"You're getting mighty poetic on me there, space cowboy. Tfiti would be impressed, but yes, I have to admit, we're pretty lucky, aren't me, to be up here and to see all this stark yet dangerous beauty?"
I have two questions.
- What does "yet" in "stark yet dangerous beaty" mean? I can guess yet=but.
- I can understand "stark" is related to space. What does "stark" mean in this context?
